Honor Garden in Jamesport

About Us

The Greater Jamesport Civic Association was established in 1948 as the Jamesport-South Jamesport Civic Association, however our membership and representation covers a significant portion of the North Fork, including Aquebogue, Jamesport, South Jamesport and the portion of Laurel that is within the Town of Riverhead.  We offer members:

  • A stronger voice and greater momentum to address community concerns.

  • A conduit to elected and appointed officials within the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County and New York State, and to our federal government representatives.

  • A commitment to uphold the safety and beauty of our hamlets and to foster a strong sense of community within.

  • Educational and informational sessions on matters of importance to our North Fork communities, ranging from regulatory and legislative issues to health and environmental concerns.

  • Affiliation with an established and well-respected community organization.
